A Winner tells his story!

Hello! I just wanted to send a thank you. We won the adventure base camp three night stay at the trail support raffle. The Fred Meijer Heartland Trail has literally changed our lives. We started riding bikes again about 2.5 years ago and live very near the entrance to the trail in Sidney. We have used the trail many times in the past couple years as we navigated our way to a more healthy active lifestyle and we appreciate it so much. We are now selling our home and going to travel full time in our van and bike all over the country, but it all started on this trail, so thank you.

Party at the Pavilion on June 8, 2025

Friends of the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail (FFMHT) had their annual fundraiser. Instead of a dinner banquet, a Party was held at the Pavilion next to the Trail at 544 Forrest St, Edmore.  The event was Sunday, June 8 from 1-3 pm. Many current members, new members, and supporters  had a family friendly afternoon of free hot dogs (sponsored and grilled by The Stump Guy), Live Music, Door Prizes, Trail Merchandise, and the traditional Raffle Drawing.  Fun was had by all!
